What is the Open Science Advent Calendar? What can I do with it?

Every day in December we highlight a different tool, service, or resource related to research data management and Open Science. Just like with a regular advent calendar, we invite you to come back every day to open a new door to get fresh insights or food for thought connected to Open Science and Open Scholarship. The aim is to provide inspiration, lower barriers, and show where you can find support to make your research more open and sustainable.

Who is this for?

Everyone! Regardless whether you are a scientist, a person working in scientific services, an interested layperson or else – the advent calendar is for everyone interested in these topics. You will find resources here that are specific to Bielefeld University, because this is where this advent calendar was developed. But we have tried our best to include a variety of other sources, too! Most of the content behind the doors will be in English and we will always explicitly indicate when it is not and why this is the case.
